Sixtine is a French electronic band formed in 2011. Sixtine is comprised of Rico the Wizard, Laury Chanty, and singer Mélanie Chédeville. Their first album was released by Columbia Records in 2014. I created the toothpaste illustration in Illustrator and Photoshop. I wanted the illustration to kick back to 1950s toothpaste ads. Aquafresh inspired my color choices. I illustrated another logo comp with a rollerskate behind it. I wanted the rollerskate to have a sketch-like quality to it. So, I drew it in illustrator from a sketch I drew. The lavender air-brushed logo comp was influenced by the movie poster for the 1973 film American Graffiti. I create another comp logo and made it chrome like a 1970s Cadillac emblem. The sweet sixtine illustration has each letter illustrated like a tongue.
