Roberta is my childhood friend of Chinese descent. We decided on placing the Chinese character for love at the top of the invitations. Roberta and Nick's wedding colors were silver and burgundy. I found a great sparkly burgundy square envelope to hold all of the print pieces in the invitation. Within the envelope I designed the wedding invitation, reception invitation, rsvp card and small rsvp envelope. A sparkly silver paper for the back of the reception invite was chosen. Transparent paper with silver leaves wrapped all the invite pieces together with a thin burgundy ribbon. A silver embossed sticker sealed the big envelope closed.
