Project description

Hashtags are important tools for advertisers. #Hashtags bring consumers to social media apps like Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook, for further digital marketing consumer interaction. The hashtag allows consumers to comment on posts in one stream under the official hashtag. This project consisted of designing a hashtag to link with Bob and I's TV commercial campaign, "Gotta Go To Ross." The hashtag had to be incorporated with the Ross logo to read as one unit on top of video. I choose Helvetica as the hashtag font, following Ross' brand style guide. I placed the #hashtag just under the Ross logo in the same pantone color. For legibility on TV a white rectangular box was added under the logo and hashtag. The box was made slightly transparent so that all video was viewable behind the logo. The logo with hashtag were added to the end of the TV commercials from 2015-2017.
